The island of Fårö is located north of the island of
Gotland in the Baltic Sea.
For travel by sea, contact your travel agent soonest possible as August is peak time
for the ferries between the Swedish mainland and Visby.
From Visby, drive road 148 to Fårösund, take the free ferry to Fårö, then go north
8 km and follow the signs. Special permits for non-Swedish citizens is no longer needed.
Travel to the conference on Monday, 10 August
Departure times when going by air (the trip takes about 50 minutes). Note that this
trip is not included in the conference fee.
From Arlanda (Stockholm International): 07.50, 09.20, 11.30, 14.00, 16.30, 17.55, 18.50
From Bromma (Stockholm Centre): 07.50, 08.20, 10.30, 12.20, 14.20, 15.50
From Skavsta (Stockholm South): 06.30, 08.45, 18.50

From Oskarshamn (4 hour trip): 12.00
From Nynäshamn (5 hour trip with ferry, 2 hour 40 min with fast boat): 09.10, 12.30,

A bus shuttle will leave Visby harbour at 18.30, stop at Visby airport for direct
transport to the HF 98 Camp on Fårö
Travel from the conference on Friday, 14 August
A bus shuttle will leave the HF 98 Camp on Fårö at 08.15 and 09.45 and stop at Visby
airport and harbour
